“The Rona ain’t gonna stop the heart of a lion,” read one sign at Mondays senior class parade. The event kicked off at 6 p.m. on May 11th, and featured many enthusiastic participants. Seniors parked alongside Balson Ave and stayed stationary as friends, family and teachers drove by in cars, cheering on the graduating class. The parade route started at a parking lot in the Delmar Loop and progressed to the high school. About a hundred cars came out to honor the class.
