The U. City senior class graduated May 27 at a ceremony held at Chaifetz Arena. Lilian Getachew, senior class president, Andrew White, salutatorian, and Benjamin Pomerantz, valedictorian, gave speeches to mark the occasion. Mr. Maclin, principal, Dr. Pruitt, superintendent, and Lisa Brenner, school board president, also spoke. The band and choir performed, and seniors Henry Braeske and Maurice House sang solos. Seniors filed across the stage one by one to the sound of cheers to receive their diplomas and to shake hands with Maclin, Pruitt and Brenner.

All graduates were invited to a party put on by parents and staff members that evening at the Heights.
