For the second year in a row, the girls’ volleyball team has won districts.
In a 2-1 victory over Miller Career, the Lady Lions clinched the title. They are now preparing for sectionals on Nov. 2, which will be held in the U. City gym at 3:00. If U. City wins at that time, they will play again at 6:00. The next level beyond sectionals is the state tournament.
“Well, the girls did it again,” wrote Coach Cloud in an email. He urged people to come watch sectionals, where he expects up to 200 people to come to the school. “Thanks to everyone that has supported the volleyball team and we hope to see you all on Saturday. Way to go, ladies!”
