Grace Deitzler was honored yesterday at UMSL for The “Distinguished Achievement for Excellence in Science Award” from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. This award, which was established by the UMSL College of Arts & Sciences, recognizes the most outstanding junior-level science students enrolled in the greater St. Louis metro area high schools.
Jordan Kennedy, Merinda Morley, and Allie Hines were selected to participate in Saturday Scholars, a program sponsored by Washington University Medical School’s Office of Diversity Programs, which gives them the opportunity to explore medical school during four Saturdays in February and March.
TaQuoara Hardieway was selected to be a Student Leader for Excellence in Learning, A Mizzou Medical School Program, in which students from 17 area schools participate. She was selected from a group of seven students who attended the program last year to help with this year’s program.
