Students attend woman’s march

Several U.City students and staff writers of the U.Times went to the woman’s march in downtown Saint Louis on January 21, the day after president Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The woman’s march originated in Washington and soon there were sister marches in cities all over the country. The march’s main ideas are to promote unity and take a stand against the unjust treatment of minority’s all across America that have been promoted by our new president.
The march began at 9 am on 18th and Market street and made its way towards the arch where there was a rally. Over 10,000 people came out to show their support for an important cause.
