Hello, Starlings and welcome to Sasstrology, your place for all things astrology and horoscopes at U. City!  I’m Dan, the Star Man and I’ll being doing monthly horoscopes starting in October.  For right now, I’ll give you an overview of all the zodiac signs.  Astrology dates back to a time when the New Year began on the spring equinox, the time of renewal for the Earth, so we’ll be starting with that sign, Aries!

Aries (March 21-April 19)
Aries is ruled by the planet  Mars and is represented by the strong ram.  With these two symbols, it is obvious that you are confident, determined and headstrong.  Sometimes your appearance and how people view you is very important for you.  However, along with that, you are a bit selfish and become a huge jerk.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Taurus, you are ruled by the planet Venus, meaning that you have a strong respect for trust in romance.  You are patient and appreciate every minute of life and love every little thing you have.  At times, though, you’re so appreciative of your things that you become stingy and materialistic.  You’re represented by the bull; with that you are stubborn and hard-headed. Mess with the bull, you get the horns.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You’re inquisitive and have an urge to seek knowledge.  Ruled by the planet Mercury, you need to communicate and have to talk.  Being represented by the twins, there are many sides of you and you’re very versatile.  Sometimes you talk too much though, Gemini.  On top of that, you’re pretty shallow at times.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Cancer, you’re ruled by the Moon, a symbol for motherly nature in mythology.  This light reflects onto your sign.  Your emotions run your life most of the time, and your sensitivity is very strong.  But sometimes when you get pushed around, you won’t waste your tears; your symbol, the crab, has pinchers.

Leo (July 23-Aug 22)

Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22)
You, Virgo, are also ruled by the planet, Mercury, from that planet you get the trait of being analytical, thoughtful and practical.  However, you are so analytical at times that you have to have things a certain way that you’ll just absolutely refuse to do something a different way and view other ways in a cynical light.  Just keep calm and be a laid-back Virgo!

Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22)
Libra, you’re also ruled by the romantic planet of Venus.  Recognize beauty, whether inner or outer, and perfection comes naturally to you.  Being represented by the scales, you feel like your life needs to have truth and balance in it.  Along with those scales, you feel that work should be followed by laziness, which you love to be, and that sweetness should be paired with rebellion.

Last, but not least, Pisces, you are the one sign that could probably bring people together with belief and faith.  Being ruled by the planet Neptune, you have an insight that is so accurate that at times it’s scary!  Being that last zodiac sign, you feel that emotions are all that you run on. While that has some truth, that isn’t all that you have to offer.  Your insight has a side effect of powerful imagination.  However, every dream needs an awakening; don’t let dreams make you leave reality forever.
